My First Blog Post
"You should start a blog."

Almost everyone tells me that. I don't disagree- I should. I just don't know what I would write about.
I have been staring blankly at the default Wix page that says "This is your first blog post" for months. Literally months. I think I am overthinking this.
It's not that I don't have anything to say-- it's quite the contrary actually/obviously. I'm a writer. I have a lot to say, but I'm not sure that my opinions need to be posted all over the Internet for the world to see. Besides, I think my Twitter and Instagram accounts are already doing enough damage.
Betcha haven't met many writers who feel the same way.
I want to find a niche.
Surrounded by a network of aspiring journalists, there are at least a thousand fashion blogs to every one hundred food blogs. And don't even get me started on the classic, travel blog of "My Summer Backpacking Around Europe."
**Please don't get offended if you currently run a blog about any of those topics. They are all wonderful things to write about.
I want to find a niche, but I still want to be unique.
I want my blog and my writings and everything else I do to stand out. I mean, I love clothes, food and travelling too, but if I start writing about all of those things and throw in a few posts with TV show critiques, work out woes, and advice from my young yet maturing life-- wouldn't that just make my blog an online, public diary?
The Natalie Diaries.
That has a certain ring to it, but I'll work on a new name.
